George Bendon Die Musiktafeln des Genfer Herstellers um 1880 gehören zu denen mit dem allergrössten Firmensignet 36-37 Ely Place, Holborn, London, and also at 1 Charterhouse Street. Claimed to be a manufacturer of clocks and good-quality musical boxes from its factory at Ste-Croix, Switzerland. Bendon boxes all feature a larger white tune sheet with a prominent royal coat of arms. These tune sheets are all lithographed in Geneva. (Ord-Hume, Musical Boxes, p. 293) However, the possibility is that Bendon was but an agent and importer after the same manner as Dawkins. No maker of this name is recorded in the Ste-Croix directories.(Ord-Hume, Musical Boxes, p. 293)
