gilt als Erfinder des Scheibenspielwerkes (TMB 6, 4, 1973, 278-280).

1811 bis 1828: Isaac Daniel Piguet & Philippe Samuel Meylan, der 1811 von Brassus nach Genf kam um die Partnerschaft mit Piguet einzugehen.

"Born in Le Brassus in 1772, he was a member of a family of renowned watchmakers. He was to specialise in making very thin watches, some of which were characterisied by being wound using a female spring arbor and a square-shanked key. Became an eminent maker of watches with automata, and early musicwork. In 1811, went to Geneva and formed partnership with Piguet. He died in 1845."
