Lami

Geneva-Switzerland. Little is known of this maker of miniature mechanical singing birds other than that he was born in 1810 and died at the advanged age of 92 in 1902. His singing birds were of a size and quality almost equal to that of the Bruguier family, but they are difficult to identify because he never marked his work. (Ord-Hume, Musical Boxes, p. 312)
