A fine cylinder musical movement playing two airs, by Willenbacher & Rzebitschek, N° 1043 / 12749, with 81-tooth single-section comb, on plain polished brass bedplate, stamped with full maker’s name, linkages for start/stop and change/repeat in brass, mounted within oval clock-base with burr walnut veneered side, turned brass controls with mother-of-pearl centres, glass lid insert, on rounded ebonised base on bun feet.

Dimensions: case: 13 1/2 inches (34cm) wide, cyl: 3 15/16 inches (10 cm), the bedplate width 5 15/16in. (15 cm)
