6¼ cyl 3bee striking saucer bells

Height 21.5 Width 46.5 Depth 28 cm

French-style cylinder music box playing 8 ayers (tunes) with a 16cm (6 - 1/4") disc and 3 bee-striking saucer bells. Simple walnut cabinet without inlay, maker unknown. CONSIDERATIONS: The walnut cabinet shows little wear, with just minor surface abrasions. The mechanics of the music box work well, and the tonal quality is very good. The mechanics show light oxidation and there is not a complete tune card. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 18 - 1/4" x 11" x 8 - 1/2".

N° 3636 Mandoline

An unusual Victorian Swiss 8 airs rosewood Mandolin music box with inlays and built in windup clock mounted to front panel, 19th century. The box also with fancy brass handles attached to sides. The clock is connected to the music box movement and appears to periodically play the music box when working - while the clock is complete, it is in non-working condition. The music box is in good working condition, but the teeth with losses - the rosewood case is in very good condition. The case measures 24 1/2"W x 13 1/2"D x 8 1/4"H.
