A French cylinder music box, by Auguste L'Épée, with an 11 3/4 inch cylinder playing eight tunes, with a card detailing them, the rosewood veneered lid with inlaid foliate decoration and paper tune sheet inside. Serial no. 51793. 53cm long, 20cm deep, 15cm high. An accompanying note says that it was originally sold by Adolph(e) Woog of London.
