Sectional comb, serial 1193, with 19 x 5 notes and 1 x 4 notes on each section

The cylinder is 163 mm x 36 mm and the bedplate is 224 mm x 81 mm

There is one strange lever (top right in the image above) that does not appear to do anything.

3 pieces of music, all about 45 seconds long, has been identified to be from the Opera Dame Blanche (1825).

On close inspection I find that there are no missing teeth. It looks as though there is one missing on the treble end, but there are no pins to strike it so I think it's supposed to be missing. (Bernard Novell)
