A very early French music box by Jerome Thibouville-Lamy, dating to 1850.
Serial number 4196 on the bed plate, (we from FAMBS read 5196).
Cylinder number 44198, (we from FAMBS read 44196).
Condition: No repairs or replaced teeth to the comb, winds and plays wonderfully. Case is made of walnut and shows some wear from use, but this is an early Jerome box and worthy of any collection. Dimensions: 16 ¾" x 7 ¼" x 5 ¼". (Morphy Auctions)
