Walnut box with inlaid brass stringing and vacant cartouche. Mother of pearl button slides left and right to start/stop movement. No makers marks apparent. The sound is good but there are occasional dull notes during playback. I have uploaded a YouTube video of the item playing; A good quality item but sold as shown due to the occasional dull notes during playback Possibly missing the right end note?
