Victorian Paillard Excelsior Interchangeable Cylinder music box featuring an interchangeable cylinder beneath glass; a hand-cranked mechanism; and mechanical switches for looping, pausing, and starting the movement. Mechanism is mounted in a carved wood housing featuring polychrome marquetry depicting musical instruments, flowers, and foliage. Includes separate box containing three additional cylinders (including ones for "Yankee Doodle" and "Dixieland") and leather bound booklet with instructions and a catalog of additional songs.
